This dentist office was amazing from every person I encountered. I had to find a dentist who did extractions. I really didn't have an issue with my previous dentist, except they did not do extractions. When I called to make the appointment, Natalie was so nice, and she immediately told me that some extractions they do have to refer you to someone else. Natalie also told me that if something wasn't covered with the X-rays, they have a new patient appointment special and would figure it out either way. I made the appointment despite maybe still having to go to an oral surgeon for my extractions, but I'm so glad I did. From the moment I walked in, Charlie and I hit it right off. She was excited because I had the paperwork already. I knew I was in the right place because I could be myself. We had fun from the moment I walked in. Jynette did all the x-rays. Let me take pictures of the pictures. She was so friendly and we had a good time too. I can't believe I'm saying I had a good time at the dentist's, but I did twice. Then Sam came in to check the teeth for gum disease things like that. She was incredible, too! When I came back at 3:00 for the thorough cleaning, Sam explained everything so well and was funny. We even played "Under Pressure" on my phone while she was applying the pressure, LOL. When Dr. Pinney came in he was just as fun and very knowledgeable. Dr. Pinney was also very personable. He did not go over all the other work I needed besides having the teeth pulled. He knew that was the most important thing to take care of right away. He even posed for a picture. He also explained why it would be better to do the extractions with the oral surgeon. I would definitely recommend this dentist office. I hate going to the dentist which is why I put this appt off for the last two years. I wish I had gone sooner. Prior to LMFD I had only been to my family dentist in Michigan. This was a NIGHT AND DAY DIFFERENCE! There was a whole team taking care of me and I felt like they really prioritized making me feel as comfortable as possible while giving me treatment specifically catered to my needs. They valued my consent throughout the appt as well which is refreshing to say the least. They even offered me a local anesthetic. Ive been to quite a few dental clinics but nothing compares to the care, comfort and attention I get from this dental clinic. First of all Charlie is supper friendly and helpful as a new patient. She gives you options for appointments that pop-up to get you in. Natalie is also very friendly and facilitating. She was waiting for me as soon as I walked in. Amanda wad my first hygienist. Again very friendly and informative. Dr. Pinney is so cool, I forgot he was my dentist. I had to come back for my cleaning and Samantha was very nice. She educated me thoroughly on my dental hygiene. What areas I excel at and areas I may need to do some work.
